What is FirePong?

FirePong is a free browser game — real-time multiplayer Pong for 2 to 12 players, with an arena that changes shape to match the number of players. Two players get the classic rectangle. Add a third and the table becomes a triangle, then a square, a pentagon, and so on up to a twelve-sided table. Everyone defends exactly one wall of it, and the table re-forms live when somebody joins or drops out mid-match.

• No download, no account. Create a room, share the link, play.
• Every wall is a goal. A ball crossing your wall costs you a point and gives one to whoever touched it last. Nobody touched it? Still your point to lose. Own goals count. First to +5 by default — the host picks the target, or runs the room endless.
• Nobody is ever knocked out. There is no floor: a bad run is a story, not an exit. What takes you off the table is your own doing — collect a 👻 and you leave for a couple of points, the arena reshapes without you, and you spend them haunting it with powerups dropped wherever you like.
• Paddles you can aim with. Hit off-centre to angle the shot, or slide sideways as you hit to bend it that way. Sliding aims — it never adds speed.
• Twenty-six powerups, in three flavours — some fire on pickup (multi-ball, or a 🌀 that spins the whole arena), a couple happen to you, and the best ones go in your pocket until you choose to fire them: a 🔥 you aim, a 🛡️ that mends you, a 🧤 that catches the ball outright. A fireball burns clean through paddles, leaving holes anyone can shoot through until a repair closes them — and a paddle shot to pieces springs back whole, so nobody is ever left with nothing to play with. Some of them change the table itself — a 🫏 that stands in the middle and bounces everything, a 🌀 that spins the whole arena, or a ⚽ that makes every ball bend like a free kick, or a 🪃 that sends every return back at whoever hit it.
• Phone or desktop. A/D and arrow keys on a keyboard, or hold the left or right half of a touchscreen.
